Volunteer With Us
Looking to make a difference in the lives of animals? Sign up today and complete our volunteer training program. Our volunteers play a vital role in helping us care for pets and connect them with loving homes. Volunteers walk dogs, provide enrichment and socialization for cats and dogs, and assist with special events. Participants must be 18 or older, or accompanied by an adult.
What our Volunteers Do
Volunteers work closely with both dogs and cats, helping them stay happy, healthy, and ready for adoption. Volunteer activities include:

Walking and exercising dogs

Socializing animals through play and positive interaction

Providing mental stimulation and enrichment activities

Assisting with basic training and behavior support

Engaging cats with interactive play and companionship
In addition to hands-on care, our volunteers help raise awareness about adoptable animals and support the shelter through fundraising events and community outreach.
Volunteer hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Is this Program Right for You?
Because our volunteers play an important role in the daily care of shelter animals, we ask that you review the following requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older, or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Able to safely lift at least 10 pounds

For dog volunteers: comfortable handling and walking dogs

Willing to participate in dog and/or cat socialization
