The gift that enables us to extend our mission far into the future.
The Legacy Society
Make a difference today in the lives of animals of tomorrow.
Community success depends on the involvement of the citizens within it. Gifts of time, talent or dollars can be life saving for the smallest members of our community.
The Legacy Society of the Cherokee County Animal Shelter recognizes donors who have chosen to support the future of our shelter with planned giving. Society members have contributed either through automatically recurring gifts or provisions for a gift donation to be awarded after death.
The mission of the Cherokee County Animal Shelter is to respect the animal human bond while anticipating and providing services that insure public health and safety through the proper promotion of animal welfare. We strive to provide our community with supportive animal care services and quality education and outreach while recognizing and preventing animal cruelty.
How to become a member?
Notify us of a future gift donation in your will, through an insurance or retirement plan beneficiary designation, or with an income arrangement of a cumulative lifetime gift in any denomination to the Cherokee County Animal Shelter.
What are the benefits?
Legacy Society members are recognized in our quarterly newsletter and on a dedicated page of our website, with permission. As membership grows, society members will be invited to the annual volunteer appreciation luncheon.
